Beschreibung

Inclusive education enables learners from a variety of backgrounds to study and develop together. The ongoing digital transformation of schools is changing the way inclusive education is designed and delivered. Digital media and technologies provide new opportunities for combining individualised and collaborative learning, breaking down barriers and promoting equal access to education. However, current school practice often addresses inclusion and digitalisation separately. This project aims to integrate these two areas and strengthen their interconnection. A key requirement for this integration is collaboration between teachers and educational specialists from different professional backgrounds. Nevertheless, recent research suggests that this potential is not being fully realised in the context of digitally inclusive teaching. The project's goal is to develop a theoretically grounded and empirically supported framework that combines digital inclusion with effective multi-professional collaboration. Using a Design-Based Research (DBR) approach, six interdisciplinary teams of teachers will design digitally inclusive learning environments for specific mathematics and German topics, targeting the first and second educational cycles. These teaching teams will engage in professional development and receive support from dedicated mentors. Qualitative research methods, such as focus group interviews, self-reflection and criteria-based classroom observation, will be employed to collect and analyse data throughout the project. The resulting findings, along with the collaboratively developed learning environments and digital learning materials, will be documented and refined for further use. Depending on specific contextual needs, these outcomes can be adapted, scaled, and implemented in other educational settings.
